12 Months Warranty Policy

Warranty Coverage:

Thank you for choosing TillSense for your cash registers, POS systems, and professional hardware solutions. We are committed to providing high-quality, durable, and reliable equipment for your business. To ensure confidence and peace of mind, all eligible TillSense products include the following warranty coverage.

1. Warranty Period:

All TillSense products include a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase, covering:

  • Cash registers
  • POS systems
  • POS terminals and touch screens
  • Barcode scanners
  • Receipt printers
  • Cash drawers
  • Label printers (Niimbot and others)
  • POS accessories and supported hardware

Your purchase receipt or order confirmation serves as proof of the warranty start date.

2. What the Warranty Covers:

Our warranty protects you against:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faulty internal components
  • Workmanship issues
  • Hardware defects that affect performance
  • Internal electronic failures not caused by external damage

If covered, TillSense will repair or replace the defective product at no cost.

3. Warranty Exclusions:

The warranty does not cover damage caused by factors outside normal intended use, including:

A. Physical or User-Caused Damage

  • Drops, impact, cracked screens, or crushed components
  • Liquid spills or moisture damage
  • Incorrect power supply usage (e.g., power surges without protection)

B. Improper Installation or Misuse

  • Using incompatible accessories or consumables
  • Failure due to poor maintenance or dust clogging
  • Incorrect setup that leads to damage

C. Unauthorized Modifications

  • Non-approved repairs or opening the device casing
  • Installing unofficial software or firmware
  • Altering hardware or ports

D. Consumables (not covered)

The following items are not covered under warranty due to normal use:

  • Till rolls
  • Label rolls
  • Ink ribbons
  • Stickers
  • Print heads on thermal printers (covered only if factory defective within 30 days)

E. External Events

  • Natural disasters (floods, lightning, storms)
  • Power failures or spikes without surge protection
  • Theft or loss

4. Warranty Claim Process: 

    If you believe your product has a warranty-covered issue:

    1. Contact TillSense Support at support@tillsense.com

    2. Provide:

    • Your order number
    • Product serial number (if applicable)
    • A clear description of the issue
    • Photos or video evidence of the problem

    3. Our team will guide you through basic troubleshooting.

    4. If the fault qualifies, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

    5. Return the product securely with all original accessories and packaging.

    5. Repair, Replacement & Assessment

    Once received:

    • Our technicians will inspect and test the product.
    • If the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, the product will be repaired or replaced.
    • Replacement units may be new or refurbished, but of equal or better condition.
    • If the issue is not covered under warranty, we will inform you of repair options and costs before proceeding.

    6. Customer Responsibilities

    To maintain warranty eligibility:

    • Use the product only for its intended business purpose.
    • Protect the equipment from moisture, dust, and impact.
    • Use approved surge protection for all electrical devices.
    • Avoid unauthorized disassembly or repairs.

    7. Non-Transferable Warranty

    This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable if the product is resold.

    8. Software & Configuration

    • Software licences, configurations, and data loss are not covered by the hardware warranty.
    • TillSense is not responsible for lost programs or settings due to resets or repairs.
    • Backup of POS data is the customer's responsibility.
