Rental Policy

Rental Agreement

Welcome to TillSense. By renting a POS system or cash register from us, you ("Client") agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Rental Agreement:

​

  • The rental period begins on the date of equipment delivery or collection and lasts until the agreed rental term ends.

  • Clients may extend the rental by submitting a request at least 7 days before expiry.

  • TillSense reserves the right to refuse or terminate rentals if terms are not followed.

2. Payment Terms:

​

  • All rental fees must be paid in advance, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Accepted payment methods: Debit Order, EFT, Credit/Debit Card.

  • A security deposit may be required and is refundable upon returning equipment in good condition.

  • Late payments may result in service suspension or equipment retrieva

3. Delivery, Installation & Setup

​

  • Clients can collect equipment or request delivery (fees may apply).

  • Installation and training services are available upon request.

  • TillSense is not responsible for business losses due to installation delays.

​

4. Equipment Usage & Maintenance:

​

  • The Client must use the rented equipment responsibly.

  • Do not modify or attempt repairs without TillSense approval.

  • If issues arise, contact our support team for assistance.

​

5. Damage, Theft & Loss:

​

  • The Client is responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of equipment.

  • In case of loss or theft, notify TillSense immediately and file a police report.

  • Damaged equipment will be assessed, and the Client may be charged for repairs or replacement.

6. Technical Support & Repairs:

​

  • Support hours: 08:00am - 06:00pm & 24/7 AI Support

  • TillSense provides remote and on-site support for technical issues.

  • If equipment failure occurs, we will provide a replacement or repair service as soon as possible.

​

7. Termination & Equipment Return:

​

  • The Client may cancel the rental with 30 days' notice.

  • Early cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.

  • Equipment must be returned in its original condition; late returns will incur additional charges.

​

8. Liability & Indemnification:

​

  • TillSense is not responsible for business losses, data loss, or damages due to equipment failure or misuse.

  • The Client agrees to indemnify TillSense against any claims or liabilities arising from their use of the rented equipment.

​

9. Data Security & Privacy:

​

  • TillSense does not access or use Client business data stored on the POS system.

  • The Client is responsible for securing their own business data.

​

10. Governing Law & Amendments

​

  • These terms are subject to change. Updated terms will be available on www.tillsense.com.

  • This agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa, and any disputes shall be settled in Gauteng courts.

​

11. Agreement Confirmation

​

By renting a POS system from TillSense Company (Pty) Ltd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
